Frank Sinatra said that he was for anything that gets you through the night – be it prayer, tranquilisers or a bottle of Jack Daniels. Well he was wrong about the Jack because it ain’t bourbon. And he forgot to mention pearls and all the pretty fripperies that make life worth living. When it comes to prayer there is no better preacher than the Rev Elijah Craig.
