This site was set up by parents for parents after we grew increasingly frustrated at coverage of family travel in mainstream publications.
Too often, we felt, it was aimed squarely at people who live in the south east, have oodles of cash to spare and are more interested in “keeping the kids busy” rather than happy.
What does that mean? Well how many features have you read where the gist seems to be how to keep your children distracted or from under your feet if they are bored? Rather than how to have a good time together?
We’re keen on video and are also very keen on helping readers get the best value from their holidays and days out, whatever their budget.
We don’t believe you have to spend a shedload of money to show your family a good time. We also provide help with directions, incorporating satnav and google map directions into posts where possible and we are always open to ideas as to where you think we should be reporting on.
