Aimed predominantly at men in their 20s and 30s – and, in some cases, 40s and 50s (but rarely 60s onwards) – Interestment is basically an entertainment and lifestyle website that focuses on popular culture, fashion, cookery, sport, and anything else deemed interesting on any given day.
It was set up by Josh Burt, who has been a journalist for over ten years, and has written for men’s magazines (FHM, Shortlist, Zoo Weekly), women’s magazines (Cosmopolitan, New Woman, More!), tabloids (The Sun, The Mirror), broadsheets (The Times), websites (The Sun Online, FHM Online), you name it. He’s even written a book! It has been featured in The Times, who described it as “an irrepressible canter through popular culture.
The site is also responsible for the monthly stand up comedy night Interestment Presents… Get Up Stand Up which is proving rather popular.
