P&G Awards: More online categories please!
Ape to Gentleman
Last night we attended the P&G beauty awards, the one that we most look forward to as it honours beauty journalists, hair and make up artists. Lychee and Guava cocktails on arrival were a big hit with us too!
Rick Edwards was a great choice of host and kept things moving and funny. Loved the Jay Maskrey awards, bling-tastic! We were happy to see a Best Blog Category but did we blink and miss the best online category, there was one last year?
The interesting and inspiring choice of judging panel were judging from printed copies of articles, without a laptop in sight. However we were thrilled to see Grooming Guru and Lollipop 26 shortlisted in this category and eventual winner was our very own Lollipop 26. The Exfoliator, Ahmed won an award for an article in Attitude Magazine, so a good night for our Handpicked Collective.
We do think the award for best dressed should go to the Ape to Gentleman duo, who wouldn’t have looked out of place on the red carpet of the Oscars. Raw silk bowties, standards have been set TheChicGeek.!
